The BADDEST band to rock the Earth. Period.
Formed in LA in 1981 by bassist Nikki Sixx, the CRuE quickly rose to the top & led the LA scene. The unique vocals of Vince Neil, the drumming showmanship of Tommy Lee, the "loud, rude, & aggressive guitar" of Mick Mars, & the driving basslines & great lyrics of Nikki Sixx combine to make a lethal rock n' roll machine. They reinvent themselves w/ every album; image, sound, even their logo. There have been many imitators, but the CRuE are true innovators.

  B.O.D. UPDATE:

The Brides Of Destruction album is in the can, and have signed a 3-album deal with Sanctuary Records in America and Europe.
The first album (tentatively titled Here Come The Brides) will be released in March 2004, and the first video will be shot by this year's end.

What's Going On In The World Of MoTLEY?
Forget all the rumours....

This is the OFFICIAL WORD from motley.com:
According to Nikki Sixx himself:

The MTV ICON special will be pushed back to Feb. 2005.
The movie, based on the best-selling autobiography "The Dirt", will be released in the first quarter of 2005, and WILL be supported by the band's farewell tour.
Nikki also hopes that the band can release one last studio album. As said in his diary, "....straight-up metal.....just old-school Crue."

Thumbs Down to Rolling Stone
I extend a huge middle finger to Rolling Stone magazine for over looking Mick Mars on the Top 100 Guitarists list, as well as leaving the Crue out of the 500 Greatest Albums list. And you guys call yourselves a rock magazine. HAH!!! More like over-priced toilet paper!!!

MICK MARS: Loud, Rude, & Aggressive!
Mick doesn't need Rolling Stone's respect. Motley fans all recognize that Mick is the man. Mick would take several of the guitarists on that list to school....
